Patch in the news...

17 Jan | Wiesbaden, Patch split title game rematches - An unlikely winner emerged in Friday night's boys and girls basketball set between the Patch Panthers and Wiesbaden Warriors: the status quo. Both halves of the doubleheader were rematches of last year's DODDS-Europe Division I championship games. And despite considerable upheaval on all involved rosters, the results were the same as each reigning champion successfully defended its turf. »

7 Jan | Patch Senior named as a United States Senate Youth Program Delegate - Thomas Harwood, a senior at Patch High School, was one of two DoDEA students named as delegates to the 52nd annual United States Senate Youth Program. The United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP) is an intensive week-long educational experience and scholarship sponsored by the United States Senate for outstanding high school students who are interested in pursuing careers in public service. »

24 Dec | Ferguson gets his title, leading club team in Stuttgart - CeJay Ferguson might have had a little bit more to play for than most of those competing in the Stuttgart Christmas Tournament. The 18-year-old Patch senior, deemed ineligible to play for the Panthers this year after playing on the school's last two championship teams, was named tournament most valuable player Monday after leading his Rot Weiss Stuttgart club team to a 43-33 victory over Kaiserslautern for the championship. »

13 Dec | Patch on the prowl for more titles - It’s Patch’s world; the rest of DODDS Europe is just playing in it. At least that’s how it looked Saturday, as the Panthers rolled through Ansbach like a miniature, basketball court-sized hurricane, with both the boys’ and girls’ varsity teams tearing through the Cougars in back-to-back blowouts. »
